Maharashtra SSC Class 10th Supplementary Results 2017 Announced at Mumbai, Aug 29: Results of Secondary School Certificate (SSC) class 10 supplementary exams have been declared at the official website according to the Maharashtra State Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education. The supplementary exams were conducted for the students who had failed in class 10 regular exams. Marks of the students will also appear in the result window.
CAT, IIFT 2017 Clashing Dates: CAT, IIFT 2017 Clashing Dates: Major entrance exams like Common Admission Test CAT, IBPS PO and Indian Institute of Foreign Trade IIFT MBA exam will be clashing this year. As per the official notification released by IIM Lucknow, the CAT exam 2017 will be conducted on November 26, 2017 Sunday. However, the IIFT has issued a notification on its official website stating that the issue related to clashing of date of MBA(IB) Entrance Exam with CAT, is being resolved. It is advised that the aspirants must keep a watch on the official website. This year apparently the IBPS PO exam was also clashing with the MBA entrance exams.
Aadhaar Mandatory For Open School Examinations to Prevent Proxy Candidates New Delhi, Aug 23: Aadhaar card will now be made mandatory for open school examinations to make sure that proxy candidates don't appear on other's behalf. After an approval from the HRD ministry, the National Institute of Open Learning (NIOS) decided to make Aadhaar card mandatory for students appearing for the next examination. "During the exams held in March, the inspection teams had found proxy candidates who were appearing on other students' behalf. To check this practice, Aadhaar has been made mandatory.

Engineering graduates eligible for EdCET Hyderabad: Govt. of Telangana on the representation made by National Council for Teacher Education issued GO permitting Engineering graduates to appear for EdCET. This will benefit Engineering graduates who want to join the teaching profession. Such of the candidates who have secured more than 55% marks in Science and Mathematics can take B.Ed. entrance test. For candidates belonging to SCs, STs and BCs, the minimum percentage of marks is 40%. These candidates will be eligible to take Mathematics Methodology in B.Ed. Entrance Test.
